Palestinian group of Sweden, is a solidarity association that is independent of party politics race and religion. The organization has been working to support Palestinian refuge for about twenty years. The PGS support in Lebanon started as a health program in 1979, For sixteen years different health teams, consisting mainly nurses and doctors were sent from Sweden to provide basic health services within PRCS hospital in the campIn 1993 the PGS health support changed from supporting the health need to rehabilitation of people with disabilities and injuries. PGS continue the cooperation with PRCS, this time to provide rehabilitation for Palestinian refugees and the Lebanese who are in need in Beddawi and Nahr El Bared Camp and those who lives in surrounding area. This project of rehabilitation was named STR, Swedish team of Rehabilitation and the rehabilitation was done at Safad hospital in Beddawi camp, at the clinic in Nahr El Bared Camp and with a out-reach program that mean training and education of patients in their home. The team was consisted of three Swedish volunteers and three Palestinian implores from PRCS.
