 It is located near Beddawi Camp and serves more than 60,000 Palestinian Refugees, distributed over Nahr Al Bared and Beddawi Camp and for the Needy Persons of the area. Safad's Departments: 1- Emergency 2- (Diagnostic Center) Radiology & Laboratory 3- Gynecology & Obstetrics 4- Surgery. 5- Internal Medicine . All these depts. work 24 hrs.: 1- Emergency: This dept. is well equipped and gives its services to the wounds, fractures, emergency patients and others. 2- Radiology: Has practiced and well experienced team. X-Ray and Ultra Sound Imaging is available in this dept. 3- Laboratory: A very well practiced and experienced team is working at this dept. with all kinds of Laboratory analysis with the exclusion of the Culture and Harmonic one. The administration of the hospt. is working hard to continue equipping the dept. to involve all types of analysis. 4- Gynecology and Obstetrics: There are 8 special beds in the dept. It contains normal delivery, cesarean delivery and gynecology surgeries. An experienced and high practiced team works in it. 5- Surgery : Contains all different surgical operations. General surgery, Orthopedic surgery, gynecology surgery, urology, some neuro surgery, Otolaryngology (ENT) and others. This dept. has two big operation rooms with an experienced Anaesthesia Dr and Technician, nurses and doctors. 6- Internal Medicine: Contains 20 beds for the patients of internal diseases, surgical diseases and pediatric diseases. The Kuvase Incubator section will be separated in the near future to be independent. This dept. is equipped to serve the patients with a good experienced nursing team. In addition to all depts. in the hospt. that were mentioned above, there are the following depts. which work in the morning time and at necessity: 1- Pharmacy & Drug Dept.: provides the medicine to the incoming and outgoing patients. 2- Out Door Clinic Dept.:there are specialized Drs. working at this dept.,having different specializations( General Health, General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Neuralgic Surgery, Urologic, Internal Diseases, Endocrenologic Diseases, Dermaeotogiy, ENT, Cardologiy and Others). in addition to the DENTAL clinic which works from 8:00am till 7:00pm. other support Sections which help in the hospt.: 1. Laundry 2. Kitchen 3. Maintenance 4. Cleaning These sections provide the best services to the patients. On the head of all these depts., there is the Administration represented by the General Director, Administration Director and others who organizes and conduct the activities in the hospt. together with the administrator on duty . Which follow up and make sure of everything is going well. The Administration exerts all efforts to provide the best services to the patients. It also works to improve the staff through the daily following performance up and solve the problems that might happen too. Also, increases the knowledge of the employers through different courses to develop the hospt. in all depts.
